My Singapore Trip

November 8 was a very special day, for it was the day we went to Singapore. We woke up at 4:00 AM. We didn't eat breakfast, though. Mommy and I folded up Charlie's cage. We ate in banana cakes in Manila.I said goodbye to Charlie and we went to the airport. I waited for a long time in the airport. I read books and played and talked with Toby.
When it was time, we went inside the airplane. I sat in the seat nearest to the window, Toby sat in the middle, and Daddy sat beside him. We put on our seatbelts. We all waited for a few minutes then the airplane started to move backwards. After a while we moved forwards. Then the airplane moved on faster and faster, and suddenly we were flying! I could see Manila below, and clouds above. After a few minutes, the clouds were below us. I closed the window beside me and relaxed. After we talked and waited, we ate our lunch. After lunch, the lights closed. I slept until the lights opened. We waited again. After many minutes of waiting, the airplane started to go down. It was fun looking down at the airport when we landed. After sitting in the airplane for 3 hours, we finally in Singapore! We took a look around the airport then we went to Festive Hotel, the hotel where we were staying. The room was small, but it had many places to sleep in. That afternoon we went to the Sea Aquarium and saw many kinds of fish.
Here is a picture of a fish that I saw in the Sea Aquarium.

This in Toby and me in the Sea Aquarium.

The following day we road the Monorail to Vivo City. We also rode the MRT that day. We watched Songs of the Sea that night. After watching, we rode the skytrain to go up then we rode the luge down. I liked to ride the luge because it was fun. Then we rode the cable car. After riding it, we had a good night's rest.

On the third day we went to Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari.

We saw many kinds of animals in the zoo. We watched three shows; Rainforest Fights Back, Elephants at Play, and Splash Safari. My favorite show was the Splash Safari. In the show I saw a sea lion perform different kinds of tricks.
In the Night Safari, we watched one show called Creatures of the Night. It was fun seeing the animals at night time. After watching the show, we rode the tram. I saw many carnivores and herbivores as well.

At the next morning, we bought souvenirs. I bought a new pink notebook. The next day, I printed out my pictures from Singapore. I put them in my notebook and wwrote all about my Singapore trip.

A Poem for Charlie

Our pet dog, Charlie is 7 months old. Here is the poem I made about him:
Charlie is my dog. I love him and he loves me.
I put him to sleep inside his cage,
And at morning greets me with a wagging tail.
But sometimes he chews our clothes and shoes.
But I still love him and he still loves me.
He does tricks and I give him rewards,
And he will lick me on my legs.
So now you see,
I love Charlie and he loves me!

The Bluebird of Happiness

Last Saturday we watched a play called "The Bluebird of Happiness". The play was about two children with  cat and a dog trying to find the Bluebird of Happiness. First, they visit  the Land of Memories where they meet their dead grandfather and grandmother. Next, they go to the Land of Luxury where they have anything they want. Then, they meet their future brother in the Land of the Future.Last, the children go to the Graveyard, where they try to be brave. At the end of the journey, the two children find themselves back where they started and find the Bluebird of Happiness in their home.
While watching the play, I enjoyed the lighting and scenery very much. I learned that the secret be happiness is to not to be greedy but to be thankful for what you have.

Charlie

Charlie is our family pet. He is a toy poodle, a small dog. When it's time to sleep, we put him inside his cage. The cage is really small, not as small as a bird cage ,but smaller than most usual cages. Every morning, I wake up, then feed Charlie, take him outside to potty, play with him and all other chores. One day, when we took him to the vet, we saw the problem of his ears.He had ear mites. The next thing we knew he had a cut in his ear, so we put an e-collar on him. When we got home ,Charlie tried to remove his e-collar by pushing it against  the rocks in the garden.Today he still tries to scrach his ears, but he can't.I feel sorry for him, but it can't be helped. But Charlie is still the same dog before we put the e-collar on him.He still chews our slippers and licks us.I love him very much.

Daddy

Daddy always
 hugs me,
 embraces me,
 kisses me,
and holds my hands.
He loves to watch PBA
and NBA ,too.
He eats chips with me.
He watches basketball with Toby.
He drives us to the
mall,
the Church,
the grocery,
anywhere.
At night he would be with me,
hugging me,
embracing me,
kissing me,
and holding my hand.
At day I would
hug him,
embrace him,
kiss him,
and hold his hands.

My First Dog

I had wanted a dog since 2012.The reason why I wanted a dog was because of the Good Dog magazine. The first issue I saw was the one with a Labrador Retriever .The first dog I wanted to buy was a West Highland White Terrier,Westie for short. The Westie was to expensive to buy so we continued to research. The dog I found was called the Shih Tzu.I already knew the Shih Tzu because it was very famous in the Philippines. But later on I discovered that the Shih Tzu was hard to potty train so I ended up wanting to buy a toy poodle, almost the size of a Chihuahua(the smallest dog breed of the world).I finally got my wish on  May 27,last Monday. We bought an apricot toy poodle and named it Charlie. He was a male.He was small and cute.I love Charlie very much.

Children's Music Journey Review

I really love music, especialy playing the keyboard. This is how I learned to play the keyboard. It all started when I tried Childrens Music Journey one time.I actualy liked it, so I tried another lesson. The next time I took a lesson, I tried a game.It was real fun! Each time I took a lesson I learned a lot of things:
 First, I learned middle C.
Second, I learned more about the grand staff.
Third, I learned different composers and the songs they wrote.
Fourth, I can write and learn new songs.
When I write songs, it gets fun! I usualy get to write a song made of I twelve notes long. But sometimes learning something new is hard too, because I sometimes get confused between half notes and quarter notes!
This is my photo while taking a lesson.

Children's Music Journey (volume 2) is perfect for children ages 7-9 who like to play the keyboard.Children's Music Jorney (volume 1) is for children ages 4-7 and (volume 3) is for children 9 years old and above.Right now I am using (volume 2) and I enjoy it very much!
